Swift 11k/12k Springs

Swift 11k/12k Springs

The Tarmac 2s came with stiffer springs than the Trophy Cups, and I felt that improvement right away. But once the car was on 295s, RaceComp Engineering recommended going further: 11k front and 12k rear Swift springs, based on where I was taking the car.

Before pulling anything apart, I measured each spring perch's height from the base of the threads. That gave me a reference to get back to my ride height after the swap. I kept the original RaceComp helper spring above the new Swift main spring.

It was a substantial change, and a good one. The car hardly rolls in hard cornering now, which helps both dynamic camber and roll center migration. Like the diff, it took some getting used to and a lot of damper tweaking. RaceComp's customer support was amazing through the whole process, answering every question I had from install to setup.

Battle Beans on the corner scales

After a few months, here's where I settled:

Damper settings, clicks from full stiff
CompressionRebound
Front45
Rear46

On a rough surface like our local autocross lot, I back rear compression off a click or two to settle the rear.
